Events at the Royal Hotel - The Festival Club

Harold Chapman Photographic Exhibition Friday 29th June to Thursday 12th July. - the iconic images by one of the world's foremost photographers. Come along and see the exhibition free of charge at The Royal.

Friday 29th June from 6.30 pm - Free

Impromptu Swing Quartet - be transported back to the Hot Club of Paris with some juicy Gypsy Jazz.

Saturday 30th June from midday - Free

Jamie Rogers piano - This dynamic young jazz pianist won the 2006 Deal Festival Bursary Award, and is currently studying jazz piano with jazz legend Rees-Williams.

Saturday 8th July from midday - Free

Ian Shawcross Band - Deal's favourite jazz band swing into action.

Two Plus Nunn - An extended duo of three players with a repertoire ranging from Charlie Park to Chick Corea

DEALING WITH WRITING - www.dealingwithwriting.com

Dealing with writing is a professional organisation, based in Deal, that offers a range of opportunities for the encouragement, appreciation and development of new writing: plays, prose and poetry. Offering both a residency workshop and weekend workshops.

Residency workshop will be led by playwright Noel Greig at The Royal Hotel - September 21st - 23rd

Cost of residency will be £150.00 per person. Beginning on Friday evening and concluding late Sunday afternoon.
